U.S. ITC issues final determination under Section 337 on semiconductor devices and downstream computing products and components
On April 27, the U.S. International Trade Commission (ITC) issued a notice stating that it made a partial final determination under Section 337 with respect to certain semiconductor devices and their downstream computing products and components (Certain Semiconductor Devices, Computing Products Containing the Same,and Components Thereof, Investigation No.: 337-TA-1465). The administrative law judge’s initial determination (No. 11) issued on March 31, 2026, will not be reviewed; based on settlement, the investigation against the named respondent, American Advanced Micro Devices, Inc., Santa Clara, California, will be terminated. Additionally, based on the applicant’s withdrawal, the investigations against the named respondents—China Guangdong Lenovo Information Products (Shenzhen) Co., Ltd., Shenzhen, Guangdong, China, Lenovo Information Products (Shenzhen) Co., Ltd.; United States Lenovo (United States) Inc., Morrisville, North Carolina; Hong Kong SAR Lenovo Group Limited, Quarry Bay, Hong Kong SAR; and United States Super Micro Computer, Inc., San Jose, California—will also be terminated.
