For the past two days, I’ve been watching Layer2 over there competing on TPS, fees, and subsidies—it’s so loud it’s like a street market… But I’m actually more worried about the most basic thing: wallet security. Don’t screenshot your mnemonic or save it to a cloud drive; if you really want to back it up, do it the old-fashioned way with paper or a steel plate, and store it properly. Also, when it comes to signing authorizations, don’t click through just because you see “free claim.” A lot of these aren’t transfers—they’re a way for them to open a doorway for you with an unlimited credit limit. And watch out for phishing sites—having the domain name off by even one letter can send people off the rails. Keep bookmark links to fixed entry points, and I treat any pop-ups that tell you to “reconnect/upgrade” as if they’re air. In plain terms, no matter how big the profit hype is, if you sign an authorization carelessly, everything can end up for nothing. Forget it—let’s not talk about positions for now. Don’t reach your hand out too quickly.
