Abstract generation in progress

ME News Report, April 15 (UTC+8), Persona unexpectedly exposed a platform interface related to government surveillance, and verification data of Discord users was subsequently found to be leaked, with Discord publicly distancing itself from it. Mashable’s investigation found that personal data of LinkedIn users verified through Persona could be shared with up to 17 companies. Anthropic stated on its page that choosing Persona was based on its “technological strength, privacy control, and security assurance.” This identity verification is independent of recent age verification controversies. Around April 12, multiple users on Reddit reported being incorrectly flagged as minors by Claude, resulting in account bans; the verification service used in that process was Yoti, not Persona.
