Gold ten data, November 26th, Goldman Sachs expects that the expected approval of US liquefied natural gas projects will not have a short-term impact on global natural gas supply, as these projects require government permits and long-term contracts to continue. Goldman Sachs analysts say this means that even if the US Department of Energy approves proposed export projects, it is unlikely that the natural gas balance in the United States or globally will be affected until 2027 or later. Goldman Sachs currently predicts that US liquefied natural gas exports will more than double by 2030, reaching 189 million tons per year (25 billion cubic feet per day). By then, the United States' share of global natural gas supply will increase from the current 22% to 31%.
