Eleven African fintech startups have been selected to take part in the 2020 edition of CATAPULT: Inclusion Africa, which helps companies focusing on financial inclusion to scale.
Out of the 11 startups, only one of them is blockchain-based.

Exuus, the only blockchain-based startup on the list, is a digital and inter-operable decentralized ledger for saving groups, was founded in 2014 by CEO, Shema Steve.

Exuus emerged the winner of the SeedStars Kigali 2019 and has continued to represent Rwanda in other areas making it a truly impactful startup in the African blockchain space.
