Russian authorities dismantled a large illegal Mining Farm, with an annual revenue of $700,000.

Gate News bot reported that Russian authorities have dismantled a large-scale illegal crypto mining operation located in the town of Nazarovo in the Krasnoyarsk Krai, revealing an eyecatch that allegedly could profit over 4.6 million rubles (58,000 USD) per month.

This mining farm is located on a 30,000 square meter piece of state-owned land, officially registered as a non-residential building. However, such a building does not actually exist.

The Mining Farm is surrounded by barbed wire, filled with mining equipment and electrical infrastructure. Prosecutors revealed that all the equipment was rented out to third parties under the pretense of leasing space in a building that does not even exist.

The company behind this Mining Farm does not have the right to use this land and has never obtained the necessary permits.

Worse still, the Mining Farm has connected directly to the town's power grid without approval. Unauthorized electricity usage has increased the risk of power outages and safety hazards. Local energy officials warn that the likelihood of emergency power outages is very high.

The authorities also pointed out that the company violated fire safety regulations and failed to comply with public safety standards. Despite warnings from the prosecutor, the company continued to operate. The court has ordered an immediate suspension of the facility's operations. The prosecutor's office is overseeing its enforcement.
