Gate will launch GUSD financial certificates, supporting one-to-one minting of USDT and USDC, with an Annual Percentage Rate of 4.4%.
Gate News bot reported that according to Gate's announcement, the platform will launch a new financial certificate GUSD in 2025, supported by real-world assets such as U.S. Treasury bonds (RWA).
Gate will launch the GUSD minting function on August 18, 2025. Users can mint GUSD at a 1:1 ratio using USDT or USDC, with an initial annual yield of 4.40%. The platform will go live with GUSD spot trading on August 28 at 16:00 ( UTC+8, including trading pairs such as GUSD/USDT, BTC/GUSD, ETH/GUSD, and 6 other pairs.
In addition, Gate will launch the first phase of the GUSD staking pool on August 29, 2025, at 18:00 UTC+8, along with the simultaneous launch of the CeluvPlay) CELB( project. Users staking GUSD can share a reward of 6,428,572 CELB tokens, with an estimated annualized yield of 365%. The platform will also gradually open up various functions such as contract trading and leveraged lending for GUSD.
