Jin10 data reported on September 2, local time on the evening of September 1, Saudi Arabia's Al Arabiya television released a recent interview with Palestinian President Abbas. In the interview, Abbas stated that Israel is implementing a policy of total destruction of Palestine, and emphasized that the Palestinian National Authority is ready to take over the governance of Gaza. Abbas pointed out during the interview that there have been "at least 200,000 casualties" in the Gaza Strip, and warned that: "Gaza is experiencing a real famine, with the number of people dying of hunger even surpassing those dying in the war." Abbas criticized the international community for only stopping at condemning Israel, yet failing to implement any UN resolutions regarding Palestine.
