El Salvador will host the world's first government-sponsored Bitcoin conference.
El Salvador will host Bitcoin Histórico, the world's first national Bitcoin conference, on November 12–13, 2025, in the historic center of San Salvador. The event is organized by the National Bitcoin Office to assert the country's pioneering role in the adoption of cryptocurrency, after becoming the first country to recognize Bitcoin as legal tender in 2021.
The conference brings together many big names such as billionaire Ricardo Salinas, author Jeff Booth, Max Keiser, Stacy Herbert, Jack Mallers, along with industry experts. Activities include discussions, workshops, and cultural exchanges at the National Palace, National Library, and National Theater.
Taking place against a backdrop of changing political dynamics, the conference is seen as a turning point to promote the acceptance of Bitcoin, focusing on regulation, infrastructure, and financial inclusion. General admission tickets are 350 USD, VIP tickets are 2,100 USD. The event occurs as BTC recovers above 109,000 USD, supported by institutional capital flows.
