Abstract generation in progress

Jinshi Data News on March 6th, ING analyst Kasten Brzeski said in a report that the future monetary policy path of the European Central Bank looks uncertain after the 25 basis point rate cut. Given Germany's plans to increase defense and infrastructure spending, the ECB's new forecasts have become outdated. This development will intensify the debate on whether further rate cuts are needed. If euro area governments do take over the baton and a large-scale fiscal stimulus plan is imminent, the ECB will no longer need to bear the heavy burden of supporting the rise of the eurozone. The ECB may pause the rate cut at the next meeting to assess the impact of recent events.
