The EU has approved the 17th round of sanctions against Russia, with more sanctions in the works.
On May 20, Jin10 reported that the EU's High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Borrell, stated that the EU has approved the 17th round of sanctions against Russia, targeting nearly 200 shadow fleet vessels. The new sanctions will also address hybrid threats and human rights issues. More sanctions against Russia are in the pipeline. Borrell stated, "The longer Russia prolongs the conflict, the stronger our response will be."
