Been noticing a lot of people ask me about what 1K actually means in crypto and online spaces. So here's the deal in plain English.

Basically, K stands for kilo, which just means thousand. So when you see 1K, that's 1,000. Pretty straightforward right? 10K is 10,000, and 100K is 100,000. You'll see this everywhere on social media, YouTube views, follower counts, trading volumes.

Now Million is where things scale up. 1 Million is literally a thousand thousands, which equals 1,000,000. So 5M means 5 million, 10M means 10 million. Once you understand 1K, Million is just the next level.

Then you've got Billion, which is a thousand millions. 1 Billion = 1,000,000,000. This is the number you usually see when talking about market caps or massive transactions.

Honestly, if you're doing anything online these days, whether it's YouTube, crypto trading, freelancing, whatever, you need to know these numbers cold. It makes a huge difference when you're reading market data or understanding project valuations. The difference between 1K and 1M might sound small but it's literally 1000x.

I've been watching some interesting movements on different assets lately. If you're curious about specific tokens and their trading volumes, worth checking out the markets on Gate to see real-time numbers.
