The board of directors intends to elect Mr. Guo Xiaolong as chairman of the eighth board of directors, director of the Strategic Planning and ESG Committee, and member of the Nomination Committee of the board, with a term until the current board’s term expires.

Previously, on April 1, the leadership team meeting of Shandong Steel Group was held, announcing related appointment and removal decisions: Comrade Guo Xiaolong was appointed as a member of the Party Committee, Standing Committee member, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, director, and general manager of Shandong Steel Group; Comrade Mao Zhanhong no longer holds the positions of Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Standing Committee member, member, director, and general manager of Shandong Steel Group.

Guo Xiaolong, male, born in October 1977, member of the Communist Party of China, graduated in 1999 from Wuhan University of Automotive Industry, Department of Materials Science and Engineering, majoring in Metal Materials and Heat Treatment, and entered the workforce thereafter. He is currently Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, director, and general manager of Shandong Iron and Steel Group Co., Ltd., and Party Secretary of Shandong Iron and Steel Co., Ltd. He has previously served as Discipline Inspection Secretary/Chairman of the Trade Union at Baoshan Iron and Steel Co., Ltd. Hot Rolled Plant, Party Secretary of the Tinned Plate Plant, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee/Discipline Inspection Secretary of Zhanjiang Steel, Standing Committee member of Discipline Inspection at Baoshan Iron and Steel Co., Ltd., Deputy Secretary/Discipline Inspection Secretary of Zhanjiang Steel, Vice General Manager of Zhanjiang Steel, Deputy Secretary/General Manager of the Steel Pipe and Bar Steel Business Department, Assistant General Manager and Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the Steel Pipe and Bar Steel Business Department, Assistant General Manager of Baoshan Iron and Steel Co., Ltd. and General Manager of Operations Center (Safety Supervision Department), Director of Procurement and Business Management Office, among other positions.
