According to Techub News, as reported by Cointelegraph, the Ethereum-based gaming network Xai has filed a lawsuit against Elon Musk's artificial intelligence company xAI, accusing it of trademark infringement and unfair competition.

The Delaware company Ex Populus behind Xai stated that it has been using the XAI trademark in U.S. commerce since June 2023, including through its blockchain gaming ecosystem and XAI token. Furthermore, it accused Musk's legal team of threatening to cancel Ex Populus's registration earlier this month in an attempt to force it to relinquish its rights. The lawsuit also mentioned that the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office has suspended several of Musk's xAI trademark applications due to potential confusion with Ex Populus's existing trademarks.
