The UK is likely to reach a tariff protocol with the US, and Canada has announced retaliatory tariffs on US automobiles.

According to the Gate.io News bot, the Washington Post reports that UK officials have revealed plans to reach an agreement with Trump in the coming weeks to cancel or drop the 10% tariff imposed on the UK. Starmer is prepared to make a series of concessions, including dropping tariffs on American beef and fish, while offering tax incentives to large American tech companies.

The Prime Minister's Office of Canada announced on April 3 that it would impose a 25% retaliatory tariff on American automobiles. This tariff applies to all assembled vehicles that do not meet the requirements of the United States-Mexico-Canada Agreement (USMCA), as well as vehicles that meet USMCA requirements but contain non-Canadian and non-Mexican parts.
