Odaily News GMGN co-founder Haze posted on the X platform, stating, "The platform has recently been subjected to intermittent traffic attacks aimed at taking our website down. However, we have been able to withstand it. We haven't issued announcements every time." Around 8 PM tonight, a sudden influx of traffic caused the website to trigger a CAPTCHA. The website did not crash, but it affected user experience. GMGN has also opened a crawler IP whitelist for many community users (some of whom can analyze data, create small products, or run small businesses). This was basically given out with zero conditions; even if we stated one condition, we essentially did not review it. Therefore, there are still many community users' crawlers active on our website. In the future, to respond to traffic attack incidents and ensure user experience, we plan to strengthen traffic countermeasures and also plan to start stopping some crawler IP whitelists.
