The WLFI project sold Ethereum assets after losing $125 million

According to the Gate.io News bot and CoinDesk report, the Trump family's crypto assets project WLFI has begun selling its Ethereum assets. Arkham data shows that WLFI has sold over 5,400 ETH, with a total value of approximately $8 million.

The project raised $550 million in funding through a token sale in March this year. DT Marks DEFI LLC holds a controlling stake in the project as a family-related entity and receives 75% of the sales revenue and 60% of the operating profit share.

Currently, WLFI is advancing the issuance plan for the USD1 stablecoin. At the same time, the U.S. Congress is investigating potential conflicts of interest related to the project.
