Stop loss cannot help with profit; stop loss is just to prevent loss.

"Because I have a stop loss, I can place orders boldly; with a stop loss, I'm not afraid." This kind of thinking is problematic. The stop loss tool is meant to prevent accidents, just like when you drive, a stop loss is like a seatbelt, used to prevent accidents and to save your life. Is a stop loss important? Extremely important, it's for saving lives, how could it not be important?
But can stop loss bring profits? No!!! Profits come from your ability. Driving well is not because your seatbelt is fastened well, but because your driving skills are good, your driving technique is good, and your driving mindset is good. Profitability is not directly related to stop loss itself; stop loss is just a way to ensure that you can survive in the market and not be out of the game.
To make a profit, the first step is to stay alive, to continue living. Stop loss can help you stay alive longer. However, whether you can continue to survive depends on your ability. The second step is that ability determines profit. Only by enhancing your trading knowledge, maintaining a good trading mindset, and having decisive trading execution skills can you earn profits in the market.
So, never use stop loss as an excuse to place orders casually. If you get used to this excuse, even if you stop loss, it will be like using a dull knife to cut flesh; over time, let alone making a profit, you won't even be able to survive.
