OpenAI partners with PwC to launch Financial Agent, achieving a fivefold increase in contract processing during internal testing
Crypto news, OpenAI on May 4th announced an expanded partnership with PwC to jointly develop an enterprise-level “Native AI Finance” solution. This solution introduces AI Agents to take over core business processes such as financial forecasting, procurement, payments, and month-end closing. OpenAI will use its own finance department as the “Zero Client” to provide a testing environment and underlying capabilities. According to official disclosures, without adding staff, their team has handled five times the contract volume during financing processes using customized Agents and Codex, and has used the dedicated IR-GPT to handle over 200 investor interactions. PwC is responsible for complex internal controls, compliance implementation, and financial transformation deployment. Just one day after this partnership was announced (May 5th), Anthropic also released a matrix of 10 financial Agents targeting Wall Street, marking a full-scale competition between the two leading large model providers around core enterprise financial workflows.
