Golden Data November 26th News, Goldman Sachs predicts that the expected approval of US liquefaction projects will not have a short-term impact on global natural gas supply, as these projects require government permits and long-term contracts to continue. Goldman Sachs analysts said this means that even if the US Department of Energy approves the proposed export projects, the natural gas balance in the US or globally is unlikely to be affected before 2027 or later. Goldman Sachs currently expects that by 2030, US liquefied natural gas exports will more than double to reach 189 million tons per year (25 billion cubic feet/day), at which point the US's share of global natural gas supply will increase from the current 22% to 31%.
