The waste of government spending involves not only money but also the unreasonable allocation of resources, posing a threat to the fairness and sustainability of society.

The vision of DOGEAI is to make government data more transparent, understandable, and accessible through AI technology. The project team hopes to empower more people to participate in the analysis and utilization of government data by developing efficient tools to extract and enrich government data, thus forming an open and transparent government data ecosystem.

Technical Architecture of DOGEAI
The technical architecture of DOGEAI is based on a monorepo, which includes three main components:crawler

The crawler is the data collection core of DOGEai. It is an application based on Node.js, responsible for fetching data from the U.S. Congress API. The workflow of the crawler is as follows:
The crawler is deployed on Fly.io and can be triggered to run through the CLI. Currently, the initial crawling process is triggered manually, and there are plans to change it to a CRON job for automation in the future.
Agent is a simple chatbot developed based on the Eliza framework. It can read bills and help users understand their content. Currently, the agent runs locally in the form of a CLI tool, and users can input bills they need to understand to generate relevant content.
The website is the front-end interface of DOGEAI, built on Next.js. It provides users with a platform to view bill summaries, analysis results, and interact with agents. The website’s design focuses on user experience, aiming to make the presentation of government data more intuitive and accessible.
