Yala: Will destroy illegally minted YU Tokens on September 23.

Wu learned that Yala released an analysis report on the attack incident on September 14, in which a Hacker exploited the temporary deployment Secret Key during the authorized cross-chain bridges deployment to set up an unauthorized cross-chain bridge and stole 7.64 million USDC (approximately 1,636 ETH). The YU Token once depegged to 0.20 USD and then stabilized at 0.94 USD. The official statement indicated that no protocol vulnerabilities were exploited during this attack, and Bitcoin reserves were unaffected. The Hacker has returned 22.287 million YU Tokens, while the remaining 7.713 million YU have been converted to 1,635.572 ETH. Yala announced that it will destroy the illegally minted YU Tokens on September 23, restore the 1:1 USDC exchange rate, and compensate for liquidation penalties, while emphasizing that it will strengthen real-time monitoring and third-party audits.
