[French Interior Ministry: Enhanced Security Measures for Leading Crypto Assets Entrepreneurs in the Country] According to Politico, the French Interior Ministry stated that it will provide enhanced security measures for leading crypto assets entrepreneurs and their families in the country. This decision comes in response to at least three kidnapping incidents targeting leaders in the crypto industry and their families that have occurred since the beginning of this year. French Interior Minister Bruno Retailleau stated that the new security measures include prioritized access to police emergency hotlines, police home visits, and security briefings. At the same time, law enforcement personnel will receive “anti-crypto assets money laundering training.” These cases have now been handed over to the French Organized Crime Prosecutor’s Office for investigation, and multiple arrests have already been made.
