Samourai Wallet Domain, Once Seized by FBI, Now Controlled by Scammers to Steal Bitcoin
Mars Finance reports that, according to market sources, the Bitcoin wallet Samourai Wallet, known for its privacy features, has been taken over by scammers after its domain was seized by the U.S. Federal Bureau of Investigation. The domain is now used to host phishing sites to steal Bitcoin. Domain records show that the website was registered through a privacy protection service, and the current owner’s identity is unknown. Multiple users on the X platform have reported the domain to the registrar NameCheap, requesting the shutdown of the phishing site, but no response has been received yet.
