Golden Finance reports that market news indicates that the government efficiency department led by Musk is expected to target the Department of Homeland Security in the coming days, seeking to implement large-scale layoffs across several of its subordinate agencies, which may include the U.S. Secret Service. Sources say that the Department of Homeland Security is preparing for potential large-scale layoffs. No final decision has been made yet, and the final scale and scope of the layoffs have not been determined. A senior official from the Department of Homeland Security stated that the department is “determined to eliminate government waste that has existed for decades at the expense of American taxpayers.
