Ukraine suffers its first loss of a "Mirage-2000" fighter jet, "not shot down by Russian forces".
Jin10 reported on July 23 that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky stated in a speech early on the 23rd that the Ukrainian army had, for the first time, lost a French-donated "Mirage-2000" fighter jet the previous day, with the pilot ejecting to escape. He indicated that the loss of the aircraft was due to equipment failure and not shot down by Russian forces.
