On September 2, Jin10 data reported that the new account opening data released by the Shanghai Stock Exchange showed that in August this year, the number of new A-share accounts reached 2.6503 million, a month-on-month rise of 34.97% compared to July's new account opening number of 1.9636 million, and a year-on-year rise of 165.21%. The number of new accounts far exceeded the level of the same period last year, when the new A-share account number in August was 999,300. Thus, the total number of new A-share accounts opened in the first eight months of this year has reached 17.2117 million.
