Edward Yau: Hong Kong needs to further encourage the commercialization and industrialization of scientific research achievements in the future

The data on November 4th, Jin Shi, on November 3rd, Hong Kong Financial Secretary Chen Maobo stated in his speech at the Future Science Awards Week Science Dinner that Hong Kong needs to further encourage the commercialization and industrialization of scientific research results in the future and build a more complete innovation and technology ecosystem. He pointed out that the government's strategies include guiding and leveraging market funds into strategic industries through policies to enhance capital support for innovative industries; secondly, accelerating the development of the innovation and technology ecosystem by introducing enterprises; thirdly, taking multiple measures to strengthen the talent pool for innovation and technology through education and talent introduction; and promoting regional cooperation, especially with the brother cities in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area. Chen Maobo stated that the authorities have made good progress in various categories.
