Bitcoin market dominance hits a near four-year high, before many followed by a general rise in altcoin

BlockBeats news, on March 13th, according to TradingView data, BTC dominance (BTC.D) touched 62.29% today, currently at 62.22%, reaching a near four-year high since March 2021. Since returning above 60% on February 2nd, it has been above 60% for over a month, with the market seemingly at a standstill. According to historical data, when BTC dominance surged above 60% in November last year, alts started a small bull run. In both 2019 and 2021, BTC dominance has reached highs of over 70%, followed by a broad uptrend.
