Abound, a cross-border money transfer app, announced the closing of a $14 million funding round led by the NEAR Foundation, with participation from Circle Ventures, Times Internet and other investors, as it plans to use the new funds to expand its reach, product offerings, and improve its technology infrastructure, as well as gradually enter markets such as Canada, Singapore and the United Arab Emirates. （TechCrunch）
