Qixi, often called the Chinese Valentine’s Day, is such a beautiful reminder of love in all its different forms. Traditionally, it’s about the romance of two stars meeting across the Milky Way, but in today’s world, I think it’s also about celebrating every kind of connection—romantic love, friendship, family bonds, and even the love we show ourselves.

This year, I wanted to celebrate Qixi in a special way by sharing my thoughts here on Gate Square. Being part of this community has shown me that love isn’t just about couples—it’s also about appreciating the little things that bring us joy, strength, and motivation every day. 🌸

For couples, Qixi is a time to show appreciation to one another, to celebrate the moments that make relationships meaningful. But for singles, Qixi is just as meaningful. Self-love is powerful. Taking care of yourself, chasing your dreams, and building your own happiness is something worth celebrating too. In fact, I think self-love is the first step toward every other kind of love. 💌 When we learn to value ourselves, we are better able to connect with and support others.

For me personally, this Qixi is about balance—cherishing the people I love while also recognizing how far I’ve come in my own journey. And being able to celebrate this moment here, with the Gate.io family, adds an extra layer of joy.
