Due to the government shutdown, the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) missed the final approval deadline for the Canary Litecoin ETF. Meanwhile, REX-Osprey submitted applications for 21 Spot altcoin ETFs, many of which include staking features for tokens such as NEAR and ADA. Defiance ETF also submitted nearly 50 leveraged ETFs, including those focused on Crypto Assets. Analysts expect these ETFs to soon be approved under universal listing standards, indicating strong demand from institutional investors for alts.
