Trump disdains Elon Musk at White House dinner with tech leaders 🍽️🚫
The President of the United States, Donald Trump, has excluded his former ally Elon Musk from an exclusive dinner at the White House scheduled for Thursday night. This decision comes after a public falling out earlier this year related to the Republican project "A Great and Beautiful Law."
Musk, who was once a key figure in Trump’s circle, actively participated in his presidential campaign and influenced policy-making. Following Trump’s victory, Musk was appointed to head the Department of Government Efficiency (DEG), tasked with reducing waste in government. However, his tenure at the DEG concluded in May 2025, followed by a public dispute with Trump.
Guest List: Who will attend? 👥
According to reports from the White House, the guest list for Thursday's dinner includes some of the most prominent names in the technology industry:
Bill Gates, co-founder of Microsoft
Tim Cook, CEO of Apple
Mark Zuckerberg, CEO of Meta
Sergey Brin, founder of Google
Sundar Pichai, CEO of Google
Satya Nadella, CEO of Microsoft
Sam Altman, CEO of OpenAI
Greg Brockman, founder of OpenAI
Safra Catz, CEO of Oracle
David Limp, CEO of Blue Origin
Sanjay Mehrotra, CEO of Micron
Vivek Ranadive, president of TIBCO Software
Shyam Sankar, executive of Palantir
Alexandr Wang, founder of Scale AI
Jared Isaacman, CEO of Shift4 Payments
What is the agenda? 🏛️
The dinner, which will be held in the Rose Garden, will be followed by a meeting of the Working Group on Education in Artificial Intelligence, chaired by First Lady Melania Trump. 🇺🇸
Davis Ingle, spokesperson for the White House, commented:
"The Rose Garden Club at the White House is the most coveted place in Washington, or perhaps the world. The president eagerly anticipates welcoming prominent business, political, and tech leaders to this dinner and the many that will follow in the new and beautiful Rose Garden patio."
