Just closed 50 BTC short positions, with a small loss of 4.68U.
To be honest, this decision is a bit uncomfortable. I had a good level of confidence when entering the short positions, but the rhythm of this short-term rebound is quite intense — the 3-minute RSI is directly at 79.28, indicating a complete overbought signal. I originally wanted to hold on, but looking at the 4-hour MACD still in deep negative territory, this is a disjointed rhythm. The short-term heat and long-term cold are not on the same frequency.
Instead of passively taking hits in this chaotic rhythm, it's better to retreat in an orderly manner. Stay true to your stop-loss rules. I will continue to hold the short positions on ETH—the reasons for that position still stand.
The market now is like a dancer who has lost their rhythm; the short-term rebound moves are beautiful, but the body is still going down. I choose to wait, until the rhythm aligns again.
