Cloudflare Outage Affects Crypto Community: Multiple Exchanges and DeFi Protocols Go "Offline"

Abstract generation in progress

[Crypto World] On the afternoon of December 5, many people found that their frequently used crypto platforms suddenly became inaccessible—the culprit turned out to be a Cloudflare outage.

The good news is that the official response came quickly: “The issue has been resolved, and we are continuing to monitor.”

This incident had a wide impact. Several major exchanges and a bunch of DeFi protocol frontends were affected, with users all saying, “I thought it was my own network issue.” It seems that no matter how decentralized the application is, it still can’t escape the “unified downtime moment” of traditional cloud service providers.

A reminder: when you encounter such large-scale access issues, don’t rush to clear your cache or restart your router—it’s very likely not your problem.

Cloudflare again? This guy should be renamed Cloudfail. An American CDN takes down the whole Web3, how ironic. Wait, where's my crypto... I was so scared I almost cleared my cache. Now what, does DeFi still dare to brag about decentralization? What a joke.

Cloudflare causing trouble again, this time it's really outrageous. Centralized, centralized, still getting choked by cloud service providers. Damn, made me think my own network was down, spent forever rebooting my router. This is the reality of Web3, no matter how decentralized, you can't handle it when the infrastructure goes down. Next time I'll just run the node on localhost, trust no one.

It’s Cloudflare again. Whenever something happens to them, the whole crypto space goes down with it. Seriously, this time I was scared to death—I thought my account got hacked. Is this what they call decentralization? Honestly, it’s just serving a different master.

Here we go again, this is the truth about Web3... No matter how decentralized it is, it still can't escape the grasp of Cloudflare.
