Recently, the market has been debating whether HYPE or ASTER is stronger, but to be honest, this isn't even a competition on the same level.
First, let's talk about data authenticity. Many people question the legitimacy of ASTER's trading volume, but have you ever considered whether HYPE’s billions of dollars in revenue are really clean? A small team generating such numbers in half a year—that storyline is more far-fetched than a Hollywood blockbuster.
What truly makes me bullish on ASTER is the backing it has. A project publicly endorsed by CZ—do you really think it would go to zero that easily? This isn't blind faith, it's about understanding the traffic logic of the crypto world. Seven years from now, ASTER could easily become the BNB of decentralized trading.
Price target? $100 is just the starting point; $1,000 is where it really belongs.
That might sound arrogant, but if you look at what ASTER is actually doing, it’ll make sense. It's not just a perpetuals platform—it supports trading US stocks (, you can buy Nvidia, Tesla, etc. directly ), offers 1000x leverage, and even has spot trading functions, just like UNI. More importantly, the team is building its own public chain.
This is literally a 1:1 replica of the BNB roadmap. Once the tech is fully rolled out, the BNB of DEXs will be born. By the time BNB and ASTER are interoperable, other competitors basically won’t stand a chance.
Many people don’t get why ASTER is consolidating, but honestly, this is the technical preparation phase. For the future landscape of decentralized exchanges, I’m betting ASTER leads, UNI follows, and as for HYPE…it might just end up a historical footnote.
In this space, you can question Vitalik’s development speed, you can complain about certain people’s vision, but don’t underestimate Justin Sun’s investment instincts or CZ’s ability to drive traffic. Every industry in this era is proving: traffic is everything.
Has all the criticism over the years affected Pony Ma’s status at Tencent? It’s the same in crypto. Whether people praise or criticize you, it all brings more attention. Those who discuss CZ every day, whether fans or haters, are essentially expanding his influence.
HYPE’s biggest problem is its lack of grassroots support. Relying on a few whales to hold the price—good luck standing out in this market.
Of course, this is just my personal opinion. The crypto market changes fast, and any prediction can be overturned. But if you truly believe decentralization is the future, ASTER is definitely a project worth a serious look.
