Bitcoin's market liquidity is now quite alarming, even worse than during the 2022 bear market. Frankly speaking, this wave of BTC's market lacks upward momentum, and the renowned 4-year cycle pattern seems to have become invalid. At this pace, will 2026 still see a new high? Hard to say.

Looking at altcoins, the situation is even more polarized. Only major coins like Ethereum, BNB, and SOL still have relatively stable consensus; most other small coins have basically entered a bear market mode, with many projects losing over 80%. The market is making choices, and this is very obvious.

Is liquidity worse than in 2022? Then we really need to be cautious and avoid getting cut. The four-year cycle theory should have been discarded long ago; the market has changed. A bunch of small coins have been cut in half, this is called survival of the fittest. New highs in 2026? Let's see if we can survive this year first, buddy. Is the liquidity scary? I saw something even scarier in 2017, and that was true despair. Now, this little fluctuation is nothing, the key is whether you've found an arbitrage opportunity, brother. Small coins dropping 80%? Perfect time for me to buy the dip. When others are fearful, I reinvest. These days, people still clinging to a 4-year cycle haven't even learned about on-chain data. New all-time high in 2026? I’m just betting that the returns from Chia mining machines can double again, haha.
