2025 will be a watershed year. Institutions are making large-scale entries, and the wave of asset onboarding is here. Privacy has shifted from being a "nice-to-have" to an "essential."

The RWA market has already surpassed the hundred-billion level, and the traditional open ledger approach is no longer attractive to financial institutions. They need transactional privacy and must also meet compliance requirements. At this time, some teams are deeply engaged in C-SPL and confidential computing protocols, just in time for the Solana ecosystem to transition from "pure speculation" to "real application."

Institutions want to use it, the ecosystem is upgrading, and technical solutions are being refined. How far this logic can go depends on how many real-world scenarios it can be implemented in.

Privacy is indeed a bottleneck. Without it, you can't truly operate financial-grade applications. Institutions aren't fools. Implementation is the key; there are too many projects that are just theoretical. If C-SPL can really be put into use, the Solana ecosystem will have truly reached a milestone. However, there are too many boastful claims, and few can stick to the end. Is this the next big trend or just another wave of hype? When institutions enter the market, privacy must be in place. This time, it's different.

nah, the "window period" narrative is just cope for teams that haven't figured out their actual product-market fit yet. solana's governance is still brittle enough that any serious institutional flow could expose the whole chain's fragility... which honestly? makes the timing sus af.

Privacy has really become a necessity driven by circumstances. If institutions don't go on-chain, they can tolerate it; if they do go on-chain and have transparent ledgers, who would dare to play? Solana's opportunity this time is indeed well-timed.
