There is a long-standing problem in the DeFi world. Although we hold the keys to our digital assets, in practice? The freedom to use them is severely limited. Doesn't this hinder the further development of crypto assets—from cold storage repositories to truly liquid, everyday usable financial assets? Asset ownership is in your hands, but the control over it is forcibly suppressed by ecosystem design. This structural bottleneck is the fundamental reason why many DeFi applications have struggled to become mainstream payment or circulation tools.

Basically, it's still a paradox. We pride ourselves on controlling assets, but in the end, our permissions are locked by the protocol framework. Is this still considered decentralization?

yeah, seen this song and dance before. "your keys, your coins" sounds great until you realize the protocol itself is basically a permission layer in disguise. classic case of false autonomy theater. not to sound alarmist, but most defi composability just chains exploit vectors together... DYOR before stacking leverage on top of broken architecture. just saying.

That's right, this is the Achilles' heel of DeFi. Managing your own tokens yourself, yet still being tightly trapped by the ecosystem framework, damn it.
