- Released the white paper "Bitcoin: A Peer-to-Peer Electronic Cash System" on October 31, 2008, launched the Bitcoin network and mined the genesis block on January 3, 2009.
- On July 29, 2010, left a famous quote on the Bitcointalk forum: "If you don’t believe me or don’t get it, I don’t have time to try to convince you, sorry," which is highly similar to the sentence you mentioned earlier and is their authentic statement.
