I keep losing sleep over this—what if my financial adviser just vanishes with everything I've got? The horror stories online are endless. Someone gets swindled, another loses access to their accounts overnight, and I'm sitting here wondering if I'm next. How do you actually verify that your assets are safe? Is there a way to not rely entirely on someone else holding your funds? I need real answers, not just reassurances.

Bro, that's why I insist on managing my own wallet, really.

Self-custody is the way to go, otherwise you're living in someone else's palm.

ngl That's why I stick with self-custody wallets... The traditional finance system is really too uncomfortable.

ngl that's why I've been holding onto my own HODL all along, I don't trust the middlemen system

nah the real pattern here is behavioral—advisers who ghost follow specific accumulation phases before vanishing. run address clustering on their recent movements, transaction velocity tells you everything. if they're still moving funds normally, statistically you're probably fine. but that's the trap, innit—the ones who disappear are already gone before you notice the anomaly.

Don't stay awake unable to sleep, just go ahead and put it on the chain. Self-custody wallets with private keys in hand are the true risk control mechanism.
