If you've been following Web3 discussions, you probably already know where this is going. Hand your data over to some centralized cloud AI and you're basically trading in your freedom. You think you're the master, but really you're just another data point in someone else's system—basically a lab rat in their experiment.

Look, the irony is pretty thick here. You're supposed to own your stuff, control your stuff, but the moment you let the cloud handle your sensitive data? That autonomy goes poof. You become the monitored instead of the monitor.

But hey, different people make different calls. If that trade-off works for you, then that's your call to make.

Selling your data to cloud AI, honestly, it's just trading privacy for convenience. In the end, do you really think you've gained? Typical boiling frog scenario. Wait, isn't this exactly the mess Web3 aims to solve? Why are people still jumping into the trap? Speaking of which, the question of which is more appealing—freedom or convenience—really has no answer; it all depends on individual choices. Cloud storage? Nah, I prefer to keep the keys myself and feel at ease. This irony is just too much. Claiming independence is really self-deception. Wake up, everyone. Anyway, I won't believe in "secure cloud services" anymore. I've been burned too many times and learned my lesson. Do you really see yourselves as the masters, or have you long been accustomed to being sidelined? Where have all the original intentions of Web3 gone? Returning to a hunted situation—it's really ironic.

nah fr tho, this hits different when you've actually been running nodes since the early days. watched the whole "decentralization" narrative get flipped on its head real quick... cloud computing convenience always comes with a hidden difficulty adjustment to your privacy, yk?

Is it so urgent to feed data to big companies? I'm also stunned, haha --- The centralized AI approach is essentially just cutting leeks; is it really worth losing freedom for convenience? --- Lab mouse +1, but then again, who isn't? --- Why are you still fussing over this? I've already run away to self-host, brother. --- You really dare to say that, it makes me want to migrate my wallet. --- Weighing options? That's not weighing at all, it's like being sold and still smiling. --- So, whether to use or not still depends on each person's risk tolerance. --- Monitor vs. monitored, that analogy is perfect. --- Another article that "awakens" people, but how many truly do? --- Fast forward, and we're all just crops in a data farm.

It's the same old story, the cloud AI setup has long been a trap. --- The analogy of experimental mice is perfect; we are really living in someone else's data farm. --- So decentralization is not just a slogan; it's a necessity. --- Can freedom and convenience be both achieved? Anyway, I choose freedom. --- That's why I still insist on self-hosting. It's more expensive, but I feel at ease. --- Ironically, everyone knows this logic, yet they still jump in. I don't understand. --- Trade-offs? Nonexistent. Privacy is privacy; there's nothing to trade.
