I've been optimistic about the silver market and decisively allocated into silver ETFs and silver mining ETFs. But what happened? I got caught all in. Watching the main rally unfold, but I just couldn't catch the move. Is this the so-called chasing highs and getting cut? Or was the timing just too bad? The biggest risk in investing isn't misjudging the direction, but being right about the direction yet missing the right timing by a step. Sometimes the market is so cold that the time gap between your judgment and execution can determine whether you end up making a profit or a loss.

Ha, this is a typical case of "seeing the right direction but missing out on the gains." I've been there too, it really hurts. --- One step too late in timing, and it can mean losing everything. The market is just that ruthless. --- In this wave of silver market, the earlier you enter, the more you enjoy; the later you enter, the more you become a leek. No way around it. --- Feeling like those who allocate to ETFs are waiting for the main upward wave, but when the main wave arrives, it's a feast for others. --- Getting the direction right can actually be more painful; watching the limit-up but still losing money—that's true torment. --- It's not about being caught at a high and getting cut, it's that you didn't accurately gauge the market's temperament. Silver is just like that. --- Doing it all in vain—that's why I now trust spot trading more. --- So true, missing just a few days could double your gains; missing a few minutes could lock you in losses. The timing of entry is an art.

Even if the direction is right, it's useless. This is our fate.

This is a classic story where missing by just one second becomes eternity.

This is my painful lesson: the direction was right, but I stubbornly got stuck in the most frustrating spot.
