This market trend is indeed interesting—things look lively, but the performance of mainstream coins isn't really impressive. AAVE has increased more than 5 times from 70 to now, and ETH has risen from 880 but hasn't broken the 5x ceiling. In my opinion, a 5x gain is already considered a good achievement.
XRP managing to achieve a 10x performance is mainly due to a shift in policy expectations. It was previously heavily suppressed by the SEC, but now that the sentiment has changed, there's naturally more flexibility. But if you look at others, SOL, although it surged strongly, is only around 7 to 8 times, and BNB is even more sluggish.
The real problem is obvious—retail investors' FOMO hasn't really kicked in. Where is the current capital flowing? Into MEME coins and small-cap low-quality PVP tokens. Mainstream coins lack stories that can ignite passion; most of the movement is from institutions quietly accumulating.
The market gameplay has changed; it's no longer the all-in crypto craze of 2017. Now, it's more like a professional arena, with retail investors moving on to quick pump-and-dump games. For mainstream coins to break 10x? Unless there's some substantial positive news, it's indeed difficult.
