【Super Practical Tips】 Beginner's Guide to Earning 10,000U from 0 with Arbitrage Strategies
First, here is a chart to demonstrate feasibility.
These are some of the recently popular coins with arbitrage opportunities, such as $FOLW , $ONT , and $0G. On average, each trade earns about 50~200U, depending on how quickly you close your positions. The more you avoid liquidation, the more you save and the more you earn.
Arbitrage Preparation:
1. Exchange (preferably choose top-tier exchanges; if other exchanges offer better fees, you can choose those, but to prevent poor trading environments, it’s recommended to select top-tier exchanges)
2. Capital of 50~300U (the maximum varies depending on the project)
3. Good network environment
Profit Principle:
At fixed intervals, the counterparty in the trade pays a fee rate. If the rate is negative, it means the short side pays the long side; if positive, the long side pays the short side. As long as your earned funds cover your opening costs, arbitrage can be completed (ensuring that even in extreme cases where your position is liquidated, you still have money to profit).
Practical Steps:
1. Find contracts with funding rates greater than ±1.5% on the exchange (less than that means limited arbitrage space or minimal profit). Use the exchange’s built-in fee rate query function, sorted via the filter button in the top right corner (for example, FLOW).
2. Enter the contract trading page, check the maximum leverage, ideally greater than 50x, usually 75x. This way, even if you get liquidated, there is still arbitrage space. (If the maximum leverage is exactly 50x, you can only profit if you can close your position; not recommended).
3. Conditions:
A. Transfer funds from “Other Modules” to “Contract Module,” and select leverage as “75X”
B. Position mode as “Isolated”
C. Set order mode to limit order, with the price at the best bid or best bid price (based on the sign of the fee rate)
D. Quantity at 100% or input the expected U to open
E. Set according to the fee rate, “Open Long” or “Open Short” (positive fee rate for short, negative for long)
F. Open the position within 1~2 seconds after the fee rate is settled, usually at XX:59:59, and close after XX:00:00
G. Arbitrage is complete
By now, you are ready to perform arbitrage operations. There are many other arbitrage methods in WEB3. If there is enough interest, I will continue to update. Thank you all.
