Recently, more people in the community have been asking whether the Altcoin Season will come, but looking at the market at the end of the year, I find it a bit hard to understand.

BTC now accounts for nearly 59% of the market share, holding steady in the 87k-88k range. Institutions are continuously increasing their positions through ETFs, acting like a standard safe-haven asset. What about those alternative tokens? The Altcoin Season Index is still hovering around 15-20, far from the 75 threshold that signals the start. Most altcoins have been left far behind by the market this year; only a few stand out—top coins like SOL and AI-related tokens occasionally emerge, but we haven't seen the large-scale capital shift like in the past.

Honestly, this cycle feels different from previous ones. When retail investors dominated, whenever BTC stabilized, funds would flow into smaller coins; now, it's different. Institutional money prefers BTC's liquidity and is quite picky about smaller tokens, leading to severe fragmentation. In the short term, this sideways movement might continue. To see a true broad Altcoin Season, we need to wait until BTC's dominance gradually loosens and market liquidity is further released. Maybe we’ll have to wait until next year for that.

What do you all think? Are you still betting on this cycle turning around, or do you think it’s just going to pass like this?

By the way, besides constantly monitoring the market, some people in the community are doing meaningful things. For example, some have shifted their focus to education and charity, establishing academy platforms that provide free courses worldwide. Recently, some communities have been promoting classroom projects and donation plans, which feel a bit warmer. If you're interested, check out these projects and support such valuable initiatives.

Institutions holding BTC just won't let go. Where did all the retail investors' money go? --- Let's bet on next year; anyway, this year's altcoin season is already over. --- Looking at this data, it's clear that funds are waiting for the right moment. There's not much point. --- So, we still need to wait for BTC's dominance to loosen up. --- Hey, let's not talk about it. Let's support these educational projects instead. It's much more comfortable than staring at the charts every day. --- With 59% of the market share tightly held, how can small coins possibly make a comeback? --- I just want to know when the market will truly start to flow. --- Instead of betting on altcoin season, it's better to focus on meaningful community activities. --- Institutions are playing their hand really well, trapping retail investors tightly.

BTC vampires are really ruthless this time, almost ruining small coins Wait, let's talk about it next year, anyway, it can't run away Retail investors are already dead, institutions are the new big players Instead of betting on the clone season, it's better to learn more and support projects that actually do things 59% of the shares taken, how can we play with the rest? What does SOL's lonely figure represent? Liquidity has been drained, do you want to come or not? Whether to gamble or not, it feels like there's no difference anymore Can it loosen up next year? Bro, your idea is too optimistic Instead of waiting for the wind, it's better to recharge. The resources on the academy side are quite comprehensive

BTC bloodsucking machine, wait until next year brother --- Institutions holding BTC leave no room for small coins, this cycle is really tough --- Index is only 15, still want a copycat season? Wake up --- The era of retail investors is over, now it depends on whether institutions will let go --- If you insist on waiting until next year, don’t even think about it in the short term --- SOL is shining brightly, everything else is just a backdrop, honestly, that’s it --- Fragmentation of funds is well said, indeed there’s no longer the same fanaticism as before --- Still gambling? You should have recognized the reality long ago, BTC is the daddy --- I just want to know when liquidity will be released, can’t wait anymore --- Interestingly, there are actually people doing educational charity work, worth paying attention to --- Sideways continues, let’s see next year everyone

Institutional vampires have drained BTC dry, retail investors can only watch with envy What are we waiting for? Let's talk about it next year; this cycle is probably a freebie SOL is dancing alone, while other coins are all sleeping With a 59% share, this is indeed dominance; small coins have no way out Rather than staring at the charts, it's better to look at those charity projects, at least it feels good Can't turn around, just accept it, and face the reality Institutional money is really picky; they don't even look at retail investors' money This round of the market is just BTC's solo performance; others are just supporting roles Waiting for liquidity to be released? Probably won't happen; let's see next year Fragmentation is too severe; the opportunity to make money has been shattered into pieces

Institutions are firmly holding onto BTC, and retail investors' carnival dreams are completely shattered. To put it simply, big funds are tired of the tricks of small coins. This time, we might really have to wait until next year to watch the show.

BTC vampire-like, absorbing 59%, how can small coins have any chance Institutions are like this, they bite hard when liquidity is good, small coins are truly fragmented and doomed Shanzhai season? Let's wait and see, talk about it next year Actually, there are still people in the circle doing education and charity projects, which is quite interesting The era of retail investors is long gone, now there's no such grand shift of funds The Altcoin Index is still bouncing at the bottom, far from the launch line Instead of staring at the screen, it's better to support meaningful projects This year's end market, probably no chance of a turnaround BTC dominance needs to loosen, otherwise small coins will keep being crushed Institutional money is flowing into BTC liquidity, it's very realistic Maybe next year, there might be an opportunity

Institutions are so collectively holding onto BTC that retail investors have no chance to buy the dip in small coins. --- Wait, Sol is still struggling, what are we talking about with the clone season? --- It was already time to shift a year ago, but now we're still waiting. --- According to this logic, ask again next year, since we're waiting every year. --- BTC dominance loosening? I think it will take another five years. --- Institutional bloodsucking machines, small coins are trembling. --- Honestly, compared to gambling on clone season, it's better to look at those educational projects. --- How long has the Altcoin Index been stuck at 15-20? It's truly dead. --- Let's just accept this cycle, and talk about the next one. --- Everyone holding small coins is gambling, but the data is right here.
