Both 2022 and 2018 Bitcoin experienced bear markets, but that doesn't mean 2026 will necessarily be a bear market. Conversely, the bull markets of 2017 and 2021 do not guarantee that 2025 will also be a bull market— in fact, the performance in 2025 may not be a straight upward trend. The cyclicality of the crypto market is not that simple a linear pattern. History can serve as a reference, but it cannot predict the future.

Well said, this analysis hits the nail on the head. History is history; it can be used as a reference, but if you really want to use it to predict the future? Haha, dream on. The crypto circle's tricks are like this, always the newcomers being fooled by "patterns" to death.

You're starting the circular reasoning again. If you can't determine any pattern, just stop trying to summarize patterns.

History is just a reference; what truly makes money is the courage to buy the dip.

The theory of history repeating itself should have been thrown into the trash long ago. Every time someone tries to find patterns, they end up getting proven wrong.

History repeats itself but is never the same. This phrase truly should be engraved in every retail investor's mind.
