Donald Trump said he has made significant progress in peace negotiations with Ukraine but has not achieved a breakthrough.
US President Donald Trump has stated that he has made “significant progress” in recent discussions with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy regarding the possibility of reaching a peace agreement, according to Bloomberg reports on Sunday. The negotiations focused on de-escalating tensions and seeking diplomatic solutions to end the ongoing conflict.
However, Mr. Trump acknowledged that major obstacles remain unresolved, particularly the territorial issues – the most sensitive and complex hot spot in the negotiation process. He emphasized that there have been no clear breakthroughs so far and warned that resolving these disagreements will require more time and persistent diplomatic efforts. According to Mr. Trump, it will take a few more weeks to achieve substantial progress, although the exchanges are considered constructive and still offer hope for a negotiated solution in the near future.
