Latest data shows that the Ethereum validator queue has experienced an interesting turn. Currently, about 745,619 ETH are waiting in line to be staked, with an estimated 13 days until entry; meanwhile, approximately 360,518 ETH are waiting to exit, and validators will need about 8 days to complete the exit.
This is the first "reverse flow" phenomenon in the past six months — the number of ETH wanting to enter is actually more than twice the amount wanting to leave. Interestingly, the last time a similar situation occurred was in June, shortly after which the price of Ethereum doubled.
An analyst from a leading DeFi platform pointed out that this staking frenzy usually signals a shift in market sentiment. Based on current data, everyone remains quite optimistic about Ethereum's prospects. If history repeats itself, 2026 could indeed become a promising window period.
