North America's electricity supply has become increasingly tight. In the allocation of electricity priority, data centers are often favored—by comparison, the attractiveness of BTC mining is far less than that of the former. There are several core reasons behind this: First, the cost of mining in North America is significantly higher than in the Middle East, Central Asia, and other regions, severely compressing profit margins. Second, investing the same electricity resources into data centers yields a higher return, and has a more direct impact on boosting the stock prices of listed companies. Third, the mining industry is gradually evolving into a sunset industry in the traditional sense, with its attractiveness continuously declining. These factors combined have led to a continuous shrinkage of North America's share in global BTC mining, with the hash rate concentration steadily decreasing.

Mining in North America is really going to cool down. Electricity has been taken over by data centers, and profit margins were already thin, now we have to compete with AI giants for power. How can this business continue... Moving computing power to the Middle East is probably inevitable.

Mining is really dying fast; here in North America, electricity is being drained by data centers... Speaking of which, profits are being squeezed so tightly that no one is bothering with that stuff anymore.

Electricity costs in North America are too high; I still need to go to Central Asia to buy the dip.

Mining in North America is like this: high costs, poor returns, and competing with data centers for electricity. Who would mess with money?

Unable to continue mining, indeed. North American miners should really consider shifting to Central Asia. --- Data centers are profiting, miners are just getting by—that's the reality. --- It's not easy to survive with such high mining costs. --- When stock prices look good, data centers get top priority. What do miners even matter? --- The term "sunset industry" might be a bit absolute, but North America indeed has no advantage anymore. --- Haha, with the electricity shortage, miners really have no say.

Now North American mining is really cooling down, as electricity has been taken over by data centers. Hash power is moving to the Middle East and Central Asia, where the cost advantage is clear, and we simply can't compete. The sunset industry is right; profits are squeezed tightly, and everyone has to shift. Stock returns are more attractive; capital wouldn't foolishly choose mining. North America's hash power position might not be maintained anymore, which is a bit ironic.
